Body of schoolgirl, 14, reported missing after leaving family home yesterday morning found dead in woodland

The body has been found of a teenage girl who was reported missing after she left her family home.Police had appealed for help in tracing Molly O'Donovan who had not been seen since leaving her home in Banbury, Oxfordshire, yesterday morning.Her body was found in a wooded area near Foscote Rise at 11.40am, according to Thames Valley Police.

A force spokesman said: 'The body has now been formally identified as that of missing 14-year-old Molly O'Donovan.'The death is not believed to be suspicious at this stage and inquiries remain ongoing.' 
Police had said it was 'out of character' for the teenager to be away from home and out of contact with her family.

She was last seen wearing a dark grey Super Dry hooded top with orange writing on it, black leggings and chocolate brown UGG boots.A Facebook page has been set up for people to express their condolences.Samantha Reynolds, who set up the page, said: 'rip molly o'donovan devastating news.'
Out of character': Police say they are not treating Molly's death as suspicious at this stage
